Room is spacious and well-equipped. I enjoyed the onsen, especially the outdoor area. Great to unwind after a long day. The complimentary beer after the bath is a nice touch, and free ramen at 9:30 PM was a delightful surprise. Staff are attentive and manage the onsen service well. However, there was a sewerage smell in the bathroom during my stay, which was a bit off-putting. Parking situation can be tricky during busy times, and the lighting in the room felt a bit dim. Overall, a worthwhile stay despite a few issues.

missingWrote a review on 12 Decpoor noise insulationlimited parking
My stay was marred by poor noise insulation. I could hear everything from neighboring rooms. The parking situation was an absolute nightmare, with limited space and narrow access, making it stressful just to find a spot. Furthermore, the hotel’s eco plan meant no daily room cleaning without a fee, which I found incredibly frustrating.

robotic parking, onsen experience, free ramen
The rooms are on the small side!!! Also, the noise from neighboring visitors can be bothersome and it's a bit silly to have to dispose of your own rubbish at the lift lobby!!!

A soothing hot spring getaway
Dormy Inn Kumamoto exceeded my expectations with its serene onsen experience, perfectly located near the tram and shopping street. The complimentary ramen in the evening was a delightful surprise that really hit the spot after a long day of exploring.
However, the room was a bit smaller than I had anticipated, feeling slightly cramped. There was also a minor issue with soundproofing, as I could hear some activity from neighboring rooms. While it didn't significantly detract from my experience, it was noteworthy.

The spacious twin room featured comfortable super single beds, making it an ideal choice for relaxation. The access to the onsen on the 13th floor was a highlight, especially with both indoor and outdoor bath options available. The complimentary homemade Belgian waffles for breakfast were a delightful treat, however, I did encounter some noise disturbances from neighboring rooms. Additionally, the bathroom exhibited slight maintenance issues, and the lighting seemed inadequate for evening use. Despite these drawbacks, the overall experience was enjoyable.
